Telework Tax Incentive Act

Amends the Internal Revenue Code to allow an employer or an employee a tax credit, up to $1,000 per year, for teleworking expenses incurred by or on behalf of a teleworking employee under an arrangement whereby such employee teleworks not less than 75 days per year. Defines "telework" as performing work functions, using electronic information and communication technologies, thereby reducing or eliminating the physical commute to and from the traditional worksite.

Balancing Act of 2011

Rep Woolsey, Lynn C. [D-CA6]

Amends the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993 to direct the Secretary of Labor to establish a Family and Medical Insurance Program, which may involve contracts with state programs, under which, for specified reasons, an eligible employee of a covered employer shall be entitled to family and medical leave insurance benefits for a total of 12 workweeks of leave during any 12-month program.

Amends the Internal Revenue Code to impose a family and medical leave premium on employees and employers.

Amends the FMLA to increase the number of employers to which it applies by reducing from 50 to 25 employees the threshold number triggering application of the Act.

Entitles eligible employees and federal employees to take specified additional leave for parental involvement and family wellness.

In General- An employee may apply to his or her employer for a temporary or permanent change in the employee's terms or conditions of employment if the change relates to--
(1) the number of hours the employee is required to work; (2) the times when the employee is required to work or be on call for work; (3) where the employee is required to work; or (4) the amount of notification the employee receives of work schedule assignments.

Child Care Public-Private Partnership Act of 2012

Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to establish a program to make grants to --

(1) States, on a competitive basis, to enable eligible businesses and consortia in the States to to pay start-up costs incurred to provide child care services; to provide for assistance for the costs of child care services needed by the employees of such businesses and consortia; and to pay for training and professional development for staff that provide child care services. and

(2) nonprofit business organizations with expertise in management issues concerning operating a high-quality child care center, to provide technical information and assistance to enable businesses to provide child care services.
